Webinar: Self-Guided Discovery: Helping People Discover Their Own Path to Employment

In this webinar, we share a new Facilitator’s Guide developed in partnership with Griffin-Hammis Associates. The Guide can be used to implement Self-Guided Discovery in the workforce system; in Centers for Independent Living; in behavioral health and developmental learn about pilot projects in which Self-Guided Discovery was implemented, and hear directly from implementers that worked with the public workforce system and their disability services partners. Finally, the webinar highlights the ways you can use Self-Guided Discovery to assist youth and adults, with and without disabilities, to achieve employment outcomes, including people who may acquire a disability through injury, illness or the normal aging process and want to stay-at-work or return-to-work. Self-Guided Discovery is a set of strategies that can benefit any job seeker who faces barriers to employment.
The Self-Guided Discovery pilot is part of the LEAD Center’s Customized Employment initiatives, which focus on infusing customized employment and discovery strategies into the workforce system.
