Making Work Happen

Northeast ADA Center

The Making Work Happen website from the Northeast ADA Center provides online tutorials to enhance the employment of people with disabilities through free, self-paced, on-demand learning experiences based on real-life issues and challenges around disability inclusiveness in the workplace. Each tutorial provides several learning options: General overviews, points from relevant research, self-assessments, true/false quizzes, print-and-go checklists and links for further resources. The Making Work Happen initiative consists of two offerings: 1) Making Work Happen: General Employment – two individual toolkits for employers and disability service providers focusing on disability inclusiveness in employment; and 2) Making Work Happen: Veterans with Disabilities Toolkit – three individual toolkits for employers, disability service providers and veterans with disabilities strategies and practices for the full inclusion of veterans with disabilities in employment.
